The proposed change included in this public review addressed the following topic in the NBC:<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"margin-left: 120px;\">Overheating in new dwelling units (Parts 1, 6 and 9):<\/h3>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type:square; margin-left: 165px;\">\n<li>Adds a maximum indoor air temperature for new dwelling units.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nThe purpose of this public review wass to:\n<ul style=\"margin-left: 50px;\">\n<li>provide code users, the Codes community, and the public with a detailed look at proposed technical changes, and<\/li>\n<li>seek comment on each proposed technical change as to whether it should be approved, altered or withdrawn.<\/li><\/ul>\n\nThe public review closed at <strong>11:59 pm PST on February 24, 2025, after which comments are no longer accepted.<\/strong>\nThe result of the public review process is a collection of comments on proposed code changes. The comments are sorted and analyzed by Codes Canada staff who are familiar with the development of the proposed changes, and who develop a draft resolution to each comment.
